Costly defeat for Internazionale
Internazionale has an equally expensive and painful defeat in Serie A. The leader was at home in the final defeat against Lazio 1-2. By which point loss, Inter saw its nearest rival Fiorentina and Napoli to draw one point.
Antonio Candreva was the celebrated man at Lazio. He made both goals for the visitors; the first five minutes, and already after the second three minutes before the end signal. Inter scored the Argentine striker Mauro Icardi. That goal after 61 minutes was equalized.
The pursuers Inter made no mistake. Fiorentina beat Chievo 2-0 on their own pitch, Napoli won in the local Bergamo Atalanta: 1-3.
